I think we could have spent all day on the steps with Abe…that was an awesome place.

We woke up Saturday and decided we needed to go camping (decided at 9:30 and on the road at 10:04). We were either going to go West to the beach, or East to Anza Borrego. We ended up at South Carlsbad State Beach. Our friends Jim and Melissa drove over. It was nice to drive a REALLY short distance to camping; not a huge logistic oriented trip! I bought Emily a new VW Passat CC for Christmas – do you know how hard it is to keep a secret like this, and hidden for so long?!! It was torture!
